Theme Days:

 

MONDAY:  Find Yourself in a Faraway Place

Wear a t-shirt from a place you've visited, or wear something to represent a faraway place.

 

TUESDAY:  Find Yourself in a Fable/Folktale/Fairytale

Rewrite a story with yourself as the main character.  Create and wear a hat to represent your story.

 

WEDNESDAY:  Find the words on My Shirt Day

Wear something with words on it.

 

THURSDAY:  Find Yourself in the Future

Dress as something you want to be when you grow up.  Read a book with information about your career choice.

 

FRIDAY:  Find Yourself in Flannel

Wear a cozy flannel shirt (or PJs, teacher discretion) to snuggle up and read.

 

ALL WEEK:  Find Dr. Gantt

As you leave lunch each day, look around for a picture of Dr. Gantt visiting a faraway place.  See if you can discover where in the world she is.  A link will be provided here soon for you to submit your answers online.

Talk Like a Pirate Day

Our 'Talk (and dress) Like a Pirate Day' was a success!  A big 'thank you' to all who donated to help Glen Oaks Park Elementary Library recover from the recent flooding in Louisiana.
